Washington DC Trip
A study in Photographs and a thank you.
Today I walked through the art museums of Washington, DC with a quiet kind of courage tucked into my chest. Agoraphobia still rides with me, a familiar shadow at the edge of every doorway, but today I chose to keep walking anyway. I moved from room to room at the Smithsonian American Art Museum, brushed wonder at the National Museum of African American History and Culture, and wandered beneath the vast breathing calm of the National Museum of Natural History. Each step felt like a small defiance, each pause a prayer.
As I stood in front of color and history and bone and brilliance, I kept thinking of you—the voices that reached back when the world felt too far away. I wanted to say thank you for the steadying presence, the encouragement, the reminders that I am not walking alone.
I’m sharing a few of what I saw, with hope stitched into every image—that these pictures bring you some of the same quiet joy they gave me.

💜💜 this is amazing 🥲 thank you for sharing your journey
So glad for a good outing! The art speaks loudly!
